Las Cruces Group's story

Las Cruces group consists of 11 hard-working and humble people with dreams of improving their lives, families and communities, since they want their businesses to generate employment. The group's representative is Juan Carlos, who is a gay man of 24. He tells us that he is content because he feels good dressing like a woman and people don't judge him because he is happy with who he is. He is known as an agreeable and humble young man with a strong desire to move up in life and improve his quality of life and help out his beloved family. He makes a living in acrylic fingernails. Previously he sold different brands of cosmetics, but decided to take a nails course. His fellow group members call him Yoana because he likes the name and they accept him for who he is and see him as a friend. He has also run a phone booth for the past three years to generate more income. He is requesting the loan to purchase materials to make acrylic nails like acrylics, files, nail clippers, glue and other items. The other members are Asunción, who makes a living selling clothes; Eva, who sells food; Hermenegilda Margarita, who sells plastics; Cenobia Roberta, who sells plastics; Miriam Monserrrat, who sells clothes; Juana, who sells clothes; Amando, who sells cheeses; Maria del Carmen, who sells food; Armeida Angélica, who sells clothing; Janet Catalina, who sells clothing. They give thanks to the foundation for supporting all of them no matter who they are or their shortcomings.
