A loan of $1,125 helped to purchase merchandise for the school season (notebooks, paints, pens, and folders, among others).

Noemi Yaneth's story

Noemi is 42 years old and lives with her 73-year-old mother in the city of Imperial, a city that is characterized by the important commercial activity of the people who live there. Around the city is the Fortaleza de Ungará, the last vestige of the Huarco Culture, in ancient Cañete. Also, one can find old farms among extensive cultivated areas.

She is very humble and above all is very hard-working and started her grocery business with a lot of effort 4 years ago. She is very nice to her customers, and for that reason they always return to her business.

Noemi is very grateful for the Kiva loans, since with its support she can buy merchandise for her business, especially useful school supplies (notebooks, pens, paints, and folders, among others) and this will give her the opportunity to have a greater variety of products to offer her customers and continue fighting daily toward her big dream: "To have her own house".
