A loan of $750 helped to buy fertilizers.

Margarita's story

Margarita, 36 years old, lives in her own house with her partner Teodoro, 31 years old. He helps her with the expenses of their 3 adored children. Margarita is a very strong woman and works with a lot of dedication in farming coffee and cacao with her husband. They both know the obligation to struggle to have the best production, given that their neighbors in their town also produce coffee. Margarita has spent 22 years at this business and comments that for her it is very difficult to have to fight with the pests that bring down her crops. It is because of this that she comes to the MFP offices, so that they will help her with work plans that she proposes to carry out so as not to damage their crops.

Margarita hopes for the support of the financiers so she can succeed with her work plans and, in time, be able to obtain the best harvest of her whole town. This will be her 4th loan with MFP, which assures she will faithfully fulfill her payment commitments. Furthermore, she is satisfied with the responsibility and punctuality that each of the members of her communal bank practice.

The 2,000 nuevos soles will be used to apply fertilizer to her crops, with the result of preventing whatever event that may harm her agricultural plants. For this purpose, she will buy fertilizers.
