A loan of $375 helped to buy bags of fertilizer.

Yudy's story

Yudy, 28 years old, lives in her own house together with her partner, Rigoberto, who is 31 years old, and her dear son Juan, who is 6 years old and whom she wants to give a better quality of life. Yudy is an industrious woman, who takes care of her son and also works in the fields which produce coffee and cocoa. She began this work 10 years ago and what she considers to be the most difficult thing is not being able to overcome the pests and the weeds that affect her crops; but even so she persists with her chores as this is the way to be able to put the household expenses in order. Yudy and her husband, through their training, are appropriately concerned and arrive early in their field during harvest time in order to obtain a good production. Her neighbors spoke to her about their loans obtained through MFP, and she didn’t hesitate to link up with them in order to continue with her work plans and to continue working with great care and in this way accomplishing being in a good position. This will be her second loan with MFP and she promises to make her payments punctually so that on another occasion she can request another loan. She is a trustworthy member of her communal bank. With the 1,000 soles she will buy fertilizer to maintain her coffee and cocoa production.
