Fass Diom Group's story

This group was created on December 15, 2008. It comprises fifteen women from the same district. They are united by affinity, community, and friendship. They have excellent relations. Their main work involves small-scale commerce.

MAREME (standing at the right in the photo) is the group’s official. She is 46 years old, married, and the mother of eight children. She also has a niece and a grandson to support.

She has a small business selling couscous and raising sheep and poultry. She has been working at this business for over fifteen years.

Her loan is going to enable her to buy some millet that she will process into couscous for resale. She is also going to buy some chickens and at least one head of sheep for resale.

Her goal is to help her husband in managing the family.
