A loan of $2,175 helped to increase working capital.

Nataliya's story

Nataliya is 44 years old and raising a daughter. In May of 2010, in search of an additional source of income for her family, Nataliya decided to get involved in providing food services and invested an initial sum of 80,000 som (KGS). Putting all of her efforts into developing this business, she achieved success, and her monthly profit now amounts to about 25,000 som (KGS). The earnings from this business allowed her to lease a more comfortable building for her cafe. In order to continue developing her business, Nataliya requested a loan in the sum of 100,000 som (KGS) from the "Bai-Tushum and Partners" company to increase her working capital in order to expand the selection of the cafe menu offerings and to purchase chairs and tables. This would allow her to increase the number of customers and provide employment for local students. Nataliya plans to invest the earnings from the loan into developing her cafe and dreams of creating a chain of cafes in Jalal-Abad in the future.
