Bokk Ndeye Group's story

This solidarity group was created on March 23, 2001. It is made up of seven women who live in the same neighborhood. Their main business activity is small-scale retail trade. Mame, on the left side of the photograph with her hand raised, is the group leader. She is 36 years old. She is married and mother of three children. She sells vegetables. She has a lot of experience in this business, which she has been involved in for several years. This loan will allow her to build up her capital and better develop her business. The profits will allow her to improve the living conditions of her family (health, food, clothing, etc.) and increase her savings.
