A loan of $225 helped to buy a display case.

Jannyre Danitza's story

Danitza is a 19-year-old young woman who five months ago gave birth to a little boy who is the great love of her life. She is very happy about now having him in her arms. She is a young woman who likes to read and enjoys eating carapulcra con sopa seca (dried potatoes with meat and sauce), a traditional dish in the city of Chicha, Peru.

Danitza had been studying to become a systems analyst, but for various reasons, couldn't complete her degree. But she is quite sure she will save enough money to be able to pay for the courses she needs in order to finish.

Currently she sells beauty products from 4:00pm until 8:00pm, and in that time serves an average of four customers. She knows her business is going well, because she knows a lot of people, and these are her main customers. It was her mother who encouraged her to get started in this business, because she also sells the same type of products.

With the help of the Kiva lenders, Danitza will be able to purchase a display case to show her products; and with the income she will have, she dreams about greatly increasing the quantity of her products, which will allow her to increase her income. Only in this way will she be able to pay for the higher education courses she needs.
