A loan of $1,550 helped a member to buy peanut paste and vegetables for resale.

Bamtare De Pakour 01 Group's story

Created on December 30, 2008 at the inauguration of the local "banc villageois" to which it belongs, the Bamtaré group is composed of 10 women driven to expand their businesses. The group members live in the same village and primarily work as vendors. Mrs. Diénabou (standing on the far right) is the group’s leader. She is 43 years old. She is married and the mother of four. She sells peanut paste and vegetable in her neighborhood. She has been doing this work for a number of years. With this loan, she plans to buy peanut paste and vegetables for resale. The revenues from this business will allow her to help her husband support the family.
