Ruslan's story

Ruslan was born in 1950 in Khashtarak Village, Tavush Region. Ruslan is married and now his family consists of his wife, his son, daughter-in-law, and his two year-old grandchild. Nobody in Ruslan’s family works except for him. Ruslan works at Ijevan Road Building Company as a welder. Ruslan also has run his own business for almost 40 years: he fulfils private orders for welding. He has his own truck and necessary equipment for welding. Ruslan offers his service to the entire Tavush region’s territory, and so he has many orders. With the income from his business Ruslan keeps his family well. Recently his welding equipment was damaged, and as this is only source of income for Ruslan’s family, he is asking for a $ 3,000 loan to repair it to continue to fulfill orders on a high level.
