La Guadalupe 2 Group's story

This group is named La Guadalupe 2 and is made up of 10 members, all of whom are hard-working and humble women with a desire to get ahead and triumph in life.

One of the members of this group is señora Altagracia, a happy and hard-working woman. She is 73-years-old. She makes and sells tamales, quesadillas, and deep-fried tacos. She also sells sweets.

The members tell us that Altagracia has made tamales and popular corn-based dishes, which are the quesadillas and deep-fried tacos, for 40 years.

She is happily married to señor Asunción Lugrecio, a hard-working and humble man, with whom she has 16 children. They are all already married. She asked for the loan so she can purchase more incredients like tomatoes, butter, hot peppers, plantain leaves, vegetables, and cold meats.

The other members of the group are: Simona –who sells pigs. Maria – who sells popular corn-based dishes. Juana- who sells bread. Ivonn- who sells clothing. Isabel- who sells meat. Rosalía- who sells clothing. Rosa Elia – who sells pottery. Eva Eugenia – who sells soft drinks. Ana Remedios- who sells clothing.

They are thankful to the foundation for the support that it has given them so they can make their businesses grow and offer a better life to their children, who are the most important thing to them.

In this group: Altagracia , Simona , Maria , Juana Lucia , Ivonn, Isabel , Rosalina , Rosa Elia , Eva Eugenia , Ana Remedios
