A loan of $750 helped to buy some instruments for the start of the new school year.

Yohana Lizbeth's story

Yohana is a woman who always wants to make progress in life for the sake of her two youngest who are 1 and 3, and her eldest who is 8. She cares for her children and loves them a lot. In her free time she sings to them whilst playing her guitar. She is very happy with her babies and is ready to do everything she needs to in order to provide for them.

Yohana currently works selling guitars, 'charangos' (small, five-stringed guitars), flutes and other musical instruments. She works from 8.00am to 6.00pm. She has always described herself as a tenacious woman who works hard for her children.

With the help of Kiva lenders, Yohana would like to buy some musical instruments such as flutes which are the instruments which are most requested by her student customers. A new school year is approaching and she would like to be ready for when her customers come to her store to buy her products. She knows that, with this support, she will manage to improve her income. She hopes, in this way, to also increase her number of customers and to work hard so that she can provide her little ones with everything they need.
