A loan of $500 helped to purchase whole cashew nuts and wood for building furniture.

Maria Guadalupe's story

María lives with a sister and her mother. She sells cashew nuts, and also works at carpentry with a brother who has his own home. From working at these jobs, she has generated earnings for her family. Right now, she is requesting a loan in order to purchase the whole nuts so she can process them, and she will also buy wood for making furniture. These purchases will help her have materials so she can continue with her businesses. María's goal is to have a better home by repairing the walls because they are made from earth, which is why she is striving to find alternatives to be able to improve her work.
