Channa, 25, is married and resides with her husband in Kampong Chnang Province, Cambodia. She has been growing rice, flowers and vegetables to sell for over five years, earning approximately 3 USD per day. Her husband is a taxi driver who earns about 15 USD per day.
In order to improve her family’s economy, Channa is requesting a loan of 700 USD to purchase fertilizer and fuel to use in her farming work. In the future, she would like to purchase a new car for her husband to run a public transportation service, and rebuild her present house to make it bigger and stronger to provide better living conditions for the family.
