A loan of $225 helped to buy soda, cookies, meneitos (puffed corn snacks), gum and candies.

Luis Ramon's story

Luis lives in Teustepe, in the municipality of Boaco. He is married and has two children. Luis owns a tire repair shop. He started working at the age of 12 and at 15 he started working for himself and set up his first workshop. He also has a small kiosk inside his tire repair shop which his wife runs. He plans to further expand his business so that he can provide his customers with a better service. He is requesting this loan to buy soda, cookies, 'meneitos' (puffed corn snacks), gum and different types of candies. This will help him to keep his kiosk better stocked and attract buyers. He considers his business to be in a good location. It is very busy as there are bus stops nearby. Luis' future plans are to improve the condition of his workshop and to continue helping his wife with her kiosk.
