A loan of $500 helped buy maize.

Evalyne's story

Evalyne lives in Kongowea, Kenya. She is married and has three school-going children. Evalyne owns a maize sales shop which has been in operation for four years. The business is situated at the busiest market in Kenya called Kongowea.

Evalyne learned of Milango from her friends. After her introduction to Milango, Evalyne is applying for a loan of 40,000 Kenyan shillings to purchase more maize for resale. She believes this loan will go a long way in helping her pay her children’s school fees. She would like to own a wholesale shop in the future.
