La Esperanza Group's story

La Esperanza is a group made up of 14 women from the city of Santaní. They are neighbors and friends from this city and, as a principal objective, they want to help their families and help them have a better style of living by working as a whole.

One of the members is María, who is a very nice and happy person. She has made a living raising and selling animals for a long time. She says that her work is very selfless but that she likes what she does because it's decent and respectable work. Her dream is to be able to have a farm where she could raise more animals and in this way keep growing.

She is requesting the loan to buy small chicken and small pigs to raise. She is thankful for the help she is receiving from the foundation and from Kiva.
