A loan of $1,500 helped to buy more cows.

Elvis's story

26-year-old Elvis is a hard-working man. He lives together with Cintia, his wife of three years. The couple have one son, Gabriel, who they are bringing up in a rental house, in the town of Cajas.

Elvis learned to work when he was a child in order to help his siblings with their various household expenses. He learned to raise animals and, over time, he started incorporating modern technology into his business. He has several head of sheep, bulls and cows. He fattens the animals and then sells their meat to butchers in a very well-known market. He sells the meat wholesale. Many people already know him and pay him very well. "I give my animals healthy feed and, as a result, their meat is very rich", he says. In parallel with this business, Elvis makes traditional hats which he also sells wholesale to traders in the busiest market in his area. Right now, he would like to improve his business. He would like to increase his working capital and make better profits.

Elvis belongs to the 'Mi Banco' community bank and this is his fourth loan from MFP. He is grateful for everybody's support as he will obtain the loan that he needs to achieve his goals. He pledges to make his repayments on time because the members of his bank are responsible and supportive people. With your support, Elvis will invest the money he has requested in buying more cows for his business.
