A loan of $1,500 helped to purchase sand and clay to make more bricks.

Dionicia's story

Dionicia, age 57, is a hardworking woman. She raised her son, Diofer, with whom she lives in her own home, located in the town of Cajas. She is very proud because her son is now a working professional. "He helps me and is a very good person," she states. Thanks to her brick factory, she has been able to help her son get ahead since she has been doing this activity for 30 years. She states that with the help of laborers, whom she hires to help her out, she makes 25 thousand bricks a monthly, which she then transports to the local market by truck every week in the city's brick district. She earns good profits there, so much so that she now hopes to increase her monthly brick production. For this, she would like to hire more workers. What she likes most about her job is gathering firewood to burn the clay bricks that she makes. She states that it is fun because she walks in the countryside, her favorite place. She is a member of the Mi Banco Communal Bank, and this is her fourth loan with MFP. She is grateful for the support she gets from all of you since she will obtain the loan that she needs to achieve her goals. Furthermore, she promises to be punctual in making her repayments since the members of her association are responsible and united. Dionicia will invest the loan that she is requesting in purchasing clay, sand, and other supplies needed to make bricks.
