Edilma Moraima's story

Edilma Moraima, 27, is single and lives with her parents and 8-year-old daughter. She is a single mother. She lives in Chillanes in the province of Bolivar.

The group San Isidro is made up of 10 members and is located in the canton of Chillanes, 45 minutes from the office. This group is made up of farmers who plant corn, blackberries and beans.

Edilma Moraima is a farmer who plants corn, blackberries and beans; she also raises cattle. Her loan will be used to buy urea, fertilizer for the crops, seeds and food for the cattle. She makes her purchases in Comercial Silva and sells her products in the Sunday market in Chillanes.

Edilma's dream is to have money for her daughter's education and to help her parents and keep working to have more income. She has faced challenges with the climate - it is raining a lot and has damaged the crops.

In her free time she likes to play with her daughter, and she also enjoys celebrating the Carnival season.
