Gulmira's story

Gulmira is 50 years old, married and has one son. In search of an financing source for her family, Gulmira started her own business in animal husbandry and farming ten years ago with an initial sum of 40,000 som (KGS). Thanks to her persistent work, today her livestock business yields about 20,000 som per month from sales of milk and milk products. The earnings from the business allow Gulmira to pay for her son's education at the Medical Institute. In order to further expand her business, Gulmira requested a loan in the sum of 75,000 som (KGS) from the "Bai-Tushum and Partners" company to buy a dairy cow and ewes. She plans to invest the earnings into a further expansion of her business.
