Morn, 47, is married and resides with her husband and four children in Prey Veng Province, Cambodia. She and her husband have been involved in the agricultural business for over five years; they have extensive experience and are successful in their career. They are involved in growing rice and breeding pigs to sell. They earn approximately $10 per day. Additionally, her husband is a chief village leader. Three of her children are employed; two are garment workers and another one is a construction worker. Approximately, they earn $11 per day.
Due to difficulty with the family’s transportation, Morn is requesting a loan of $1,000 to purchase a motorbike for commuting. This purchase would enable her to use the money saved on her transportation expenses to support her family. In the future, she would like to expand her agricultural business and rebuild her present house to make it much stronger to provide better living conditions for the family.
