Seab, 44, is widowed and resides with five children in Prey Veng Province, Cambodia. She has been involved in the agricultural business for over 20 years. She has extensive experience and is successful in her career. She is involved in growing rice and fattening up cattle. Approximately, she earns $5 per day.
Three of her children are employed in a garment factory and earn about $10 per day. Due to the lack of funds, Seab is requesting a loan of $850 to purchase fertilizer and fuel for using in her farming work. In the future, she would like to purchase more farmland to grow agricultural crops, and help her children get bachelor's degrees. Moreover, she hopes to rebuild her present house to make it much stronger and to provide better living conditions for her family.
