A loan of $375 helped to buy more clothing.

Steffanie's story

22-year-old Steffanie is a very young entrepreneur. She is single and not yet a mother. She lives in her parent's home together with her parents, sister and her young nephew who fills their home with happiness. Steffanie works hard because she would like to offer her parents a better quality of life.

Steffanie's business is selling clothing. She sells her products in her neighborhood. Friends or family members who would like a new look, clothing from a good brand and the latest designs seek out the products that she sells because she sells the latest, good-quality clothing at a good price. Steffanie has been in this business for almost two years and she works alone. What she enjoys about her work is the independence she has as it allows her to have time and space for doing her own thing without neglecting the income she needs to make to support her family. She considers her business to be profitable because she sells her products to people who have the ability to pay and who never hesitate to buy from her as they know that she sells good products. Steffanie has many plans and dreams to fulfill but what she would really like right now is to have her own store or a sales location where she can display and sell her clothing.

This will be Steffanie's fourth loan from MFP. She has always been a very good member of her community bank and her fellow members all like her a lot because she is very responsible and supportive. She hopes to receive a loan as it will be a support for her and she will be able to continue growing her business. She is certain that she will continue being a very punctual member and will make her repayments on time like she did with her previous loans. Steffanie will use the 1,000 soles she has requested to buy a wider variety of clothing as she would like to be able to offer a wider variety and the latest designs as this is what she is known for.
