A loan of $1,125 helped to buy footwear.

Fanny Betty's story

Fanny is the woman in the photo. She is 29 years old and has a 5 year old little one. She loves her daughter very much, and she does her utmost to be vigilant and provide her with all of the necessary care. For personal reasons Fanny separated from her husband. Therefore, she decided to get ahead with only herself and her daughter.

In order to be able to pay for all of her expenses she has been selling footwear by catalog for two years. During this time she has learned how to manage this type of business. She currently works an average of eight hours a day. During that time she tends to between two and five customers.

To make sure that her customers return to shop with her Fanny offers them easy payment arrangements. She also provides the necessary guarantee of the products sold. Basically she goes out of her way to provide good service.

With the help of this loan she will be able to buy, in advance, various shoes to sell. This will cut down on the time the orders take to fill. When her income starts to improve she will buy a showcase. When she manages to increase her sales she will get enough money together to have her own house for herself and her young daughter.
