Jose Guillermo's story

José is a 24 year old entrepreneur. He is single, does not have any children and lives with his parents. Their home is in the Morrope district, where most people work in agriculture and livestock. It is a village of about 100 families.

Since he was very young, José has worked everyday and that is why now he works raising and selling animals like cows, sheep, goats and poultry. He sells the animals in the local markets and also in nearby villages. He also farms and has planted a rice harvest. He's being doing this work for the last 6 years. He relies on his parents to help him with certain tasks and he would like to be able to give them a better standard of living.

He is requesting a loan from Edpyme Alternativa which he will use to buy fertilizer for his crops and feed for his animals. The feed will help them fatten up and grow more quickly which will make them more profitable to sell. José is a young entrepreneur who is well-known in the area for being very responsible in his work and with his family.
