A loan of $1,250 helped to install a large greenhouse for tomatoes.

Olga's story

Olga is a farmer with many years of experience. Together with her husband, she started to grow vegetables 20 years ago. At first, they planted tomatoes, radishes and other vegetables in the open ground. Then, they started to cover the ground with plastic by building small greenhouses. Due to the changes in prices and seasons (early vegetables are more profitable to sell), they now have the need to build a large greenhouse, but do not have their own means to do so. Olga is requesting a loan in the sum of 10,000 hryvnia to install a large greenhouse for tomatoes. Olga and her husband own a lot of land, where they plan to continue developing their vegetable business. Olga lives in her own house with her youngest daughter. Two of her older daughters got married, live separately and love to visit with grandchildren.
