Buusayra's story

Buusayra is 49 years old, a widow and has four children. She has been involved in animal husbandry for 19 years, after starting this business with a sum of 10,000 som (KGS). Thanks to Buusayra's persistent work, her business has two cows, two calves, 32 sheep and eight goats today, and yields about 6,000 som monthly. She also regularly works on 0.5 hectares of land, where she grows corn and potatoes. In order to further develop her business, Buusayra requested a loan in the sum of 100,000 som (KGS) from the "Bai-Tushum and Partners" company to buy calves and sheep. She plans to invest the profits into a continued increase of livestock headcount.
