A loan of $800 helped to purchase more palm juice to sell.

Sitha's story

Sitha, 39, is married and resides with her mother, her husband and two school-age children in Takeo Province, Cambodia. She has been selling palm juice for over two years, earning approximately USD 7 per day. Her husband is a construction worker. He earns about USD 4 per day. In order to improve her family’s livelihood, Sitha is requesting a loan of USD 800 to purchase more palm juice to sell. By doing so, she will be able to generate more income to support the family.

In the future, she would like to run a grocery store to generate extra income for the family and to rebuild her present house to make it bigger and stronger to provide better living conditions for her family. Moreover, she hopes to help her children get bachelor degrees.
