Mrs. Sroun H., 39, a mother of six children, works selling a variety of vegetables in the market close to her house, earning about $5 a day. Her husband contributes to the family income as a construction worker building houses, on average earning about $4 a day. Two of their sons also work at the construction site, normally earning around $3 each per day. Mrs. H. requests a loan of $200 to purchase more grocery products to sell, as she now has many customers.
