A loan of $1,500 helped to purchase livestock.

Zuurakan's story

Zuurakan is thirty-nine years old, married and has four children. Her husband works as a taxi driver. In search of some additional income, in 2009 Zuurakan began raising and breeding cattle. She initially owned one cow; now, thanks to hard work and diligence, her business consists of three milking cows and twelve goats. On average, she makes 4,000 soms a month via the sale of milk and meat products.
Focused on increasing her herd's head count, Zuurakan approached "Bai Tushum & Partners," requesting a loan of 70,000 soms aimed at purchasing calves and goats. She plans to reinvest the income generated from the loan back into her business.
