Phally, 34, is married and resides with her husband and two children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been working in garment factory for over five years, earning approximately USD 3 per day. Her husband is a motor taxi driver. Additionally, he grows rice in the dry season to generate extra income for the family. Approximately, he earns USD 5 per day.
Due to lack of machinery, Phally is requesting a loan of USD 300 to purchase a pumping machine for her husband to use in his farming work. In the future, she would like to expand her husband's business, repair some parts of her house, and help her children get Bachelor's degrees.
