Kuña Ñembyaty Mba´apora Group's story

The communal bank "Kuña Ñembyaty Mba'apora" is located in the city of Villa Ygatimi in a residential area of an indigenous community. The group is currently in its first loan cycle and is comprised of 12 members who are all indigenous women. They have shown union and support among themselves and are very hard workers. They belong to the Fundación Paraguaya Committee.

Alfonza, one of the members, raises small animals such as pigs, chickens, ducks, etc. Thanks to her work she has been able to support her family and put food on the table every day.

She is requesting a loan to buy animal feed so she can continue to work and grow her business. Her goal is to have a larger farm with many animals.
