Gocha's story

Gocha is from village Koghoto, East Georgia. He is 40 years old, married and lives with his family: wife – Tea and three daughters (16, 15 and 10 years old). All three children go to school. Gocha is a taxi driver and works in his district with his own car. He also assists Tea in family agricultural farm. The family has two milk cows and a calf. Tea produces cheese and sells on average 45 kg of this product on local market, to dairy products retailers. Also the family owns couple of hens, received eggs are mainly consumed by the family members. Total average monthly income of the family is 850 Laris.

Gocha requested credit for purchasing two additional milk cows. Tea will be able to double the amount of produced and sold cheese. It will increase the income of the family by 30% and they will be able to create better living conditions for their children and themselves.
