Phach is 60 and married. She resides with her husband and seven children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. For the past 20 years, Phach and her husband have been farmers and they have extensive experience and are successful in their careers. They are involved in growing rice and raising cattle and they earn approximately 7 USD each day. Three of Phach's children are employed in a garment factory and they earn about 9 USD per day.
Phach is requesting a 1,000 USD loan to begin a new business to improve her family's income. She will use her loan to purchase cosmetics to run a beauty salon so that her children can generate more income. In the future, Phach would like to build a new house and help her children to study the Korean language in order to find jobs in Korea.
