A loan of $950 helped to buy coffee plants.

Elizabeth's story

Elizabeth, 36 years-old, lives in her home with her husband Félix who's 50 years-old and their 4 beloved children to whom she wishes to give a better quality of life. Elizabeth is a happy and determined woman who worries about the well-being of her family. She's been making a living working the land to then grow coffee plants for 25 years. During harvest times, she relies on the support of her husband, children, and some day laborers to help her extract the fruits quickly to then take them to sell in the city of San Francisco where the warehouses are located that pay her well for each kilogram of coffee. Therefore now her priority is to be able to cultivate cocoa plants so that she can increase her land. This will be her tenth loan with MFP. She knows that she has to be punctual with her payments so that she will be able to access another loan request at another time. She is a very active and responsible member of her communal bank.

She will buy coffee plants with the 2,500 nuevos soles.
