A loan of $375 helped to buy staple supplies to stock her store.

Rosa's story

Rosa, 42, is a happy and hardworking woman. She lives in her own house with her three dear children, whom she loves and cares for. She is an industrious woman who has both a beauty salon that she was able to open with a great deal of effort, as well as a grocery door and she also sells cosmetics to her customers. She started these businesses 12 years ago and notes that her sales have gone very well.

The customers that come to Rosa’s are people who already know of her work; some come because they want a hair-cut or to beautify themselves a bit and as well they buy her beauty products. In the same way they come to her grocery store, which she established to meet their needs. At first, it was very difficult for Rosa but now that she has succeeded in having what she most wanted, she can view calmly the expenses that arise in her household. This will be loan number two with MFP and she is grateful to the lenders for the support provided her so that she can succeed in her work plans.

Rosa is a very enthusiastic and supportive member of her communal bank. With the 1,000 nuevos soles, she will buy the products necessary for her sales business.
