A loan of $425 helped to buy grains and charcoal.

Badakim's story

Badakim is a 43 year old woman. She is married to a welder. She has three children, two of whom are in school. The first is fourteen years old and the youngest is eight years old. Badakim has worked selling grains and bags of charcoal since 1997. She sells alone at the house to anyone wanting to stock up. Her major difficulty is the competition on the market.
Badakim requested her first loan from WAGES in order to buy corn and charcoal. She wants to reinvest in her business.
In the coming years, Badakim would like to expand her horizons in order to open a store. She says that with the profit, she foresees having a happy family.
