A loan of $750 helped to buy groceries with which to stock his store.

Tito Alberto's story

Tito is 56 years old, married, and lives together with his wife and eldest son in a small district where people mainly farm and raise livestock. The community is called 'Saqa' and it is located approximately one hour from Chiclayo province.

Tito's business is buying and selling groceries (grocery store). His store is located in his own home. He has been running his business very well and in recent years it has provided for his family. He started his business with very little working capital but, owing to his commitment, he now has a store with regular customers who provide very good references on the service that Tito provides which is very popular with the customers.

Tito would like to continue growing in his business as he knows that he still has demand to satisfy. He would like to buy a variety of merchandise and more groceries so that he does not neglect his customers' needs. He is requesting a loan for 2,000 soles from Edpyme Alternativa so that he can achieve his goals. Tito would like to provide his wife with a better quality of life and his son with a better education.

Tito's store is very popular with his neighbors who provide very good references for both Tito and his family.
