Mom, 31, is married and resides with her husband and four children in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia, an area which is well known for its historical tourism sites (ancient temples: Angkor Wat, Bayon, Banteay Srey……..). She has been selling Khmer noodle for over ten years, earning approximately USD 5 per day. Her husband is a motor taxi driver and earns approximately USD 7 per day.
Due to the lack of funds, Mom is requesting a loan of USD 800 to purchase a plot of land for building a house. By doing so, she would have her own house to live in and not rent a house any more. In the future, she would like to expand her business and send her children to a good school.
