Candelaria's story

Candelaria is a mother of a family and is 60 years old. She has 2 children who are grown and economically independent. The house that they live in is her own and is located in a farmhouse called "Tongorrape" which belongs to the Motúpe District and to the same province of Lambayeque.

Candelaria sells young animals like fowl among others. She works every day taking care of the animals. She focuses on giving them special treatment so as to fatten them up and grow quickly in order to be able to be sold and offered in the farmhouses or markets near her home. She has been working at this job for approximately 10 years, which has allowed her to generate the income needed for her daily expenses.

Candelaria wants to buy animals such as sheep and goats, with which she will be able to increase her working capital and therefore make her business larger. She thinks that she still has the market for satisfying for making greater profits with them that will improve her life conditions. This is why she is asking for a loan from Edpyme Alternativa for the amount of 1200 nuevos soles. She will invest the money in the previously mentioned things.

She is very well-known in the area where she lives for the type of business that she has, and she is very popular because of the good attention that she provides.
