Candida Rosa's story

Doña Cándida is a native of Estelí. She has two children and only one of them is in school. She works in food sales. She started her business with her own money, which she earned working in a cigar factory at the age of 26. Since then, her business has become her only means of subsistence. Her business is in good area near the university and she is happy with this location. Most of her customers are students and professors, and she has earned good profits. She is requesting the loan to purchase sugar, rice, chicken, meat, vegetables, oil, beans, and bananas. These are the ingredients she uses to prepare her dishes. This investment will enable her to offer a variety of meals to her customers. One of her plans is to buy plastic tables and chairs in order to provide her customers with better service. Her other goals are to gradually build a home and give her children a better future.
