A loan of $1,500 helped to purchase more products to stock her store.

Juana's story

Juana, 48 years old, is married to 49-year-old Nieves, with whom she has two children. They live in their own house, located in the Pichari district. Juana is proud of being born in a country with a lot of opportunities. She works selling groceries in her small store. She says that in order to make her store the one most frequented by her customers, she is always friendly and patient, and, most importantly, offers prices that are within the reach of everybody.

This is why she is now well-positioned in the local market, but she still isn't satisfied; she is thinking about growing and becoming one of the city's commercial centers. The most important part of her business are the sales; thanks to that income, she is able to increase her product offerings. Usually she works with the help of her dear husband and children, who fill in when she goes shopping in the city of Huamanga, to bring back all of her products at a fair price. This leaves her with earnings once the products are re-sold.

This is her second loan with MFP, and she is committed to making her payments on time once again. She is satisfied with her communal bank because they are good partners. With the 4,000 nuevos soles (PEN), she will purchase more assorted merchandise to expand her business.
