San Cayetano Group's story

This committee was formed in the city of Caaguazu. There are 18 women who came together to make this united group. They are very responsible and hard workers, they have an entrepreneurial spirit that is of benefit to the whole group. They meet every week with the goal of not failing, to continue to move forward as a team with the support that is offered by the 'Fundación Paraguaya'. Currently they are burdened by a lot of work and are in their 11th cycle.

Nancy is a member of this group. She makes a living selling clothes of all kinds, by selling house to house, which she has done for a few years. This work has been her way of helping her family cover daily expenses. She told us that she started with very few customers, but that now she has a good customer base .

She asked for the help of Kiva and 'Fundacion Paraguaya' to be able to buy clothing of various types, with which will allow her to fulfill the requests of her customers.
