A loan of $2,625 helped a member to buy ingredients for making food.

Nueva Esperanza Group's story

The "Nueva Esperanza" communal bank started a year ago in the Enterprising Women program of Fundación Paraguaya. Its members are seeking to achieve independence and financial growth. All the members are already carrying out productive activities.

Cynthia is a group member and says that thanks to the food she sells, she has been able to help her family. She says she has a talent for cooking, and this is why it's going very well. Her goal is to be able to someday have a bar where she can serve her customers more conveniently.

She is applying for the loan to buy ingredients she needs to continue preparing the food she sells, such as baked goods, vegetables, seasonings and other things. She is thankful to the Foundation for the opportunity she is receiving.

In this group: Cynthia Carolina, Maria, Liz, Julia, Valentina, Edita, Carolina, Cindia, Santa, Maria, Sonia, Mabel
