A loan of $575 helped to buy two bags of pea seeds and sacks of fertilizer.

Celia's story

Celia is 42 years old and lives with her husband of 16 years Eusebio. They have 3 children whom they love and care for in their own house, located in the small village of Cumutay, district of Huasahuasi. Celia is happy, after many years of struggle and work in agriculture. She can be sure that her production will provide her with what is necessary and a bit more to support her daily expenses and other necessities. She has been working in agriculture for 20 years now, and her principal crops consist of peas, potatoes and corn, all of which she markets at a good price in the main market of the city, where she travels after each harvest. Thanks to her work she was able to obtain 5 cultivatable plots of land that she now possesses, as well as 2 bulls with which she plows the land and which she rents to other farmers for 25 Soles per day. "I will never stop planting, I will always maintain the family custom," comments Celia proudly. However, for the future she would like to improve the quality of her products and enlarge her land.

She belongs to the communal bank "Lindo amanecer de Cumutay," and this will be the 10th loan she will obtain from Microfinanzas Prisma thanks to your support. She relies on your collaboration to continue with her goals. She promises to be punctual with her quotas.

Celia, upon receiving your support, will invest the money in the purchase of 2 bags of pea seeds, and with the rest will purchase bags of fertilizer.
