Bokk Khol Group's story

This solidarity group was created on March 22, 2001. It comprises fifteen women who live in the same district. Their main work involves commerce.

Ms. Maïmouna, who is at the right in the photo with her hand raised, is the group's official. She is 32 years old, married, and the mother of four children. She also supports five other children, who were entrusted to her by their parents.

Ms. Maïmoun is active in selling jewelry, incense, and clothing. She has good experience in this business domain which she has been working at for several years.

This loan will enable her to bolster her business capital and to develop her businesses further.

The profits will enable Ms. Maïmoun to improve her family's living conditions (health, food, clothing, etc....) and to increase her savings.
