A loan of $550 helped to buy staple food for her grocery.

Julia's story

Señora Julia is 27 years old and lives in the city of Curuguaty. She has been running her business since 2006, a store in which she sells staple food such as flour and sugar, and also clothes. She is a hard-working and enterprising woman who has worked all her life; that's the reason why she isn't afraid of any kind of work. Her goal is to keep on growing and thus helping her family.

She applies for this loan to buy sugar, flour, drinks and other products of daily use, which have the highest turnover. She thanks the microfinance institution Fundación Paraguaya and Kiva for the provided opportunity.
