The borrower, leader of the business group “Neema," is a 30-year-old entrepreneur. She is also a single mother with one young child who attends school. She is a restaurant associate. For four years she has been involved in these income-generating activities. Nonetheless, she just completed her eighth loan from Hekima. This new loan will have to allow her to stock up with two baskets of potatoes, oil, flour, Fanta, milk, tomatoes, etc. Moreover, she hopes to see her child grow up comfortable and to expand her business. The borrower thanks Hekima for their actions benefitting poor women outside the realm of classical banking.
