Nurjamal's story

Nurjamal is 49 years old, married and has six children. She is involved in animal husbandry and farming to provide a source of income for her family. Having started this business with one cow, Nurjamal was able to develop her business to have a monthly income of 3,000 som (KGS) from sales of milk. She also works on 1.80 hectares of land, primarily growing beans. In order to further increase livestock headcount, Nurjamal requested a loan in the sum of 100,000 som (KGS) from the "Bai-Tushum and Partners" company to purchase dairy cows. She plans to invest the profits from the loan into increasing livestock headcount, which will allow her to expand her business.
